I recommend avoiding the photo-trap in question. I even bought the original charger and the original battery. Just the dilettantish solution of powering the photo-trap directly from the mains, you have to blood the charger in there and yet it sticks to the tip of the connector, the wind blows or a mouse runs over the cable and the cable falls out. You have to take the battery out and charge it on the side. You simply cannot charge a photo-trap directly with a given design unless you play the hold/not hold lottery. 1. Complaint, the battery would not recharge, it was still green. Pencil batteries drained in 3 days. Verdict weak original charger, as a replacement I was sent a more powerful non-original one: -) After two weeks, the shooting started to fail. 2. Complaint, I put the preview of the photo in the attachment. Tested three cards independently. Verdict, everything OK, you have a corrupted SD card. Interesting that they work on other devices. Unfortunately, I am writing my 3rd complaint right now, I bought a brand new card as recommended by the manufacturer and the device still says missing SD card. I have tried other cards with the same result. One more tip at the end, if the photo-trap says low batteries, don't throw them away. I purposely measured them and they dropped from 1.5 V to 1.3 V, you can tighten a bunch of other electronics on top of that.

So if you set "a lot" - highest quality photo + longer quality video, higher frame rate etc and if the motion of the subjects is higher, it will suck the batteries in 2 days. The question is whether a more demanding setup has an effect. In the end, according to my experience and needs, I came to a setting that reduces consumption and I am satisfied. I recommend to buy batteries, I purchased 2 pcs and there is no problem with power supply.
