A total disappointment – practically unusable after two months. I bought this tap expecting it to heat water reliably. It worked well for the first few weeks, but after less than two months, it started to lose its power. Today, at a normal flow rate, only lukewarm water comes out. I repeatedly measured a maximum of around 37°C, even though it heated the water significantly more when I first bought it. I have a video with a thermometer that clearly proves this. I filed a claim for the product, but it was rejected on the grounds that “no fault was found”, even though the problem repeatedly occurs at home during normal use. In total, I filed a claim for the product three times, but the problem was not resolved. The result? A product that stopped performing its basic function after a short time is supposedly fine, according to the service centre. For me, the biggest disappointment is not just the quality of the product itself, but also the way the claims were handled. When I buy an electric heating tap, I expect warm to hot water, not just lukewarm. Instead, I've wasted time with repeated claims, sending the product to the service centre, and dealing with the problem with no real outcome. The whole situation is all the more shocking given the price of the product – this is a tap worth approximately 1,300 CZK, where the problem could have been easily solved by a simple replacement or some other helpful solution. Instead, it has caused unnecessary delays and complications for a product in this price category. After this experience, I bought the Baterii INOX DIGITAL SDR-18DC-3H tap, and the difference is huge. It works exactly as it should and heats the water without any problems. If I had to decide again, I would buy this model straight away and avoid the other product. Unfortunately, even Alza didn't want to look into this case any further, not even after I said I would take the matter to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority. I'm disappointed because I've been a long-term Alza customer and expected more willingness to find a solution. Unfortunately, even that is something a customer can't always rely on these days.

We have it installed very close to the main supply, in very cold outside temperatures you really have to be very careful to turn the current down to minimum, otherwise the water is lukewarm rather than hot. Once the water has been in the pipes for a longer period of time and is warmer, it heats up very well.
