If someone likes this type of switches, I recommend it, for a person who goes from some normal keyboard, I strongly do not recommend it
low profile switches are absolutely unusable, both for gaming and typing, they are too sensitive to any touch. For example, I've often wanted to go forward in the game and suddenly I start turning randomly without pressing the button.
pressing the switches didn't seem consistent, but that's probably the switches' fault not the keyboard's
Low profile probably needs to be tried. At first, I feel like a classic “gumak“ (so even after a week I have the same feeling). But it' s true that you can write on it really fast, although I felt more confident on the old K70 with Brown MX cherry. It even happened to me that the keyboard sometimes sends 2 characters, although I' m 100% sure that I pressed 1x. The other side of the keyboard is quite quiet. Processing is also very good + many backlight settings. As a minus, I would also say that the inscriptions on the keys are “shuffled“, e. g. $ is below the number 4, which is a bit confusing and is more prominent. Also, narrow enter probably won' t appeal to anyone. In addition, Corsair could choose a slightly more “civilian“ font, which is cheap and childish.
Silent buttons
Backlight
Quality workmanship
You can write on it really fast, but it takes practice
Report sooner as “gumak“
“Shift“ inscriptions placed on the keys below the main character
HW profiles cannot be set in as much detail as SW profiles
you can't set the iCUE lightning effect for Audio Visualizer unless you have a corsair headset that must support iCUE
LEDs for numlock atp are white only
the white on the keys is not completely white but more like "mint"
I think USB3, but nothing terrible
a little more flexible cable would probably be useful but also nothing terrible
I hope that the LEDs will last, on the last K70 of 2018 after 3 years some of the keys do not shine in all shades, as if one RGB component is not working
Glows beautifully, works with programs like the walker engine or in far cry 4 it changes colors to the American flag which is really cool
A little noisy but nothing terrible
