very practical in the field
because it runs on standard AA batteries, it will work in 10 years (if it had a battery, you'd be throwing the whole thing away in three years)
possibility of connection to a computer

the PC program for this is really great.

I have several of them and I'm just dreading the day when they stop selling consumables for it. Until someone says that the plastic cartridges are not "sustainable" - as is often the case today.

As with most printers, the print quality is good to excellent but everything around it is segmented by price. Almost toylike in this case - only the pink color is missing. The only saving grace is the PC software Brother P-touch Editor which allows printing almost anything, from table lines to QR codes on a wide ribbon.
