After two uses, sent for complaint. It cannot be secured in the closed position. When it manages to secure it cannot be armed for safe opening. The lid lock is very unfortunately designed.

Very high quality product. Since we bought it, we toast it almost every day: ) After burning the replaceable caps, we no longer notice any plastic smell. The stainless steel surface does leave paw prints, but this has to be dealt with in the kitchen. Once heated, the toast is done once or twice. The only disadvantage is that when opening you have to be careful of steam burns, because the opening button is located on the body of the toaster and the person has his hand exactly where the steam from the food goes.
