I have complained about the lock twice already and each time the same problem - broken connection and wrong calibration. The product behaves unpredictably, which is a major problem with the lock. Alza did not resolve the situation and only blamed it on the need to update the software. The update didn't solve anything, of course. Overall disappointing. For the money, absolutely unacceptable quality. I would definitely not buy this lock again.

Friends, don't get caught up in the bubble that is on YouTube, reviews and some FB groups (e.g. Apple Home, Smart Home, etc.) that this is the best lock, that it's finally on sale, that it has Matter and is just great! Yeah, when it came on the market, everyone praised to the skies how perfect it is, it has power even for bigger doors, how it's the only one you can use with Apple Home and thus pres Home Key, how there's a ton of stuff in the package and what's more, it's on sale on Alza, so DON'T BUY IT! The truth is that in a few months it stopped unlocking, rattled strangely and went on claim. After three weeks, the second piece arrived, but the NFC is bad again and every second unlock does not work (I attach my watch or mobile and nothing). It was also promised that the Auto Unlock feature would be completed, i.e. automatic unlocking on arrival. Super feature, most of the competition has it, I had it in another apartment on the Yale Linus mansion. What do you think? Nothing. The application is terrible, the translation is slow and for remote control (meaning only pulling the latch) you need an Aqara M3 hub for some 3k, so another ebony in the cabinet and the benefit is minimal. All in all, not worth buying, just a worry.

I bought the lock to integrate into my smart home with Apple HomeKit and Matter. Installation was relatively easy and the design of the device looks very modern. I appreciate the quiet operation of the motor and the presence of an NFC reader and the possibility of unlocking via phone or PIN. Battery life looks good too (charging via USB-C), and the included keyboard has quality workmanship. Unfortunately, the positive side was quickly overwhelmed by the traffic experience. The lock has not shown stable behaviour since the beginning. After calibration, it repeatedly jams, makes strange noises, and is unable to lock or unlock reliably despite a factory reset. Neither manual nor automatic calibration led to a remedy. I suspect that the problem is either in the gearing or in the bike itself. Moreover, the complaint was very hesitant and the manufacturer gave the impression that he had not even checked the device. I am returning the device because it cannot be used reliably and has realistically made it impossible for me to use the front door on a regular basis. For a lock at this price, I expect a higher level of quality and care in the event of a claim.
