I purchased as a replacement for the homepod mini, which was used as a home center. It took me a long time to decide, but the reviews convinced me that it could be a practical and good quality airplay speaker, but for me it is rather disappointing. The sound is nice and clear, but it is too flat and the bass loss is noticeable above 50% volume. Overall, it probably plays nicely for the size and can fill a small room, but don't expect miracles. Maybe I'm just "spoiled" from the beoplay a9 or I came across the wrong piece, but it really let me down sonically.
