I needed to make magnets as a gift. Not many options. I almost didn't buy the magnetic tape because of a review here on alza. Luckily, I didn't get discouraged. The tape was sufficient for my purpose. I made the magnets from harder paper (about a quarter), some of them are 3 layers, laminated in foil (2x 80) and the size of the magnets is about the size of a business card (a bit bigger). I glued the tape to the corners so they wouldn't come off, each piece is about 1,5 cm long. The magnet on the fridge is holding as it should. I didn't put it on all the time so I could get more magnets. In the package is a tape measure.
I have experience with another, weaker tape that tore during application (unwinding) and it barely held. So for similar use this magnetic tape is sufficient.
