I was playing around with a Fnirsi FNB48 USB tester and discovered a huge voltage ripple of around 250mV on this charger under a 1.5A load (see attached). It was an older one, so I bought a new one, thinking the original was faulty. However, the new one does the exact same thing, so it's a characteristic of the product. It's safe to use for powering devices without a battery where the ripple doesn't matter. I recommend either withdrawing it from sale or adding a warning about this characteristic.
