The same thing happened to me as to everyone else – I didn’t sign up for any automatic membership renewal! When I paid for my last one-month membership, Alza forced me to pay by card, but I was then able to pay for the goods as normal, which was very strange – and now I know why. Alza refuses to return the stolen money and is making all sorts of excuses. They’re probably counting on managing to steal at least 59 Kč in this way before the customer notices. Is Alza in such a bad way that it has to secretly rip off its customers? This really is an all-time low for this bizarre company. I’ll be taking this up with my solicitor and the Czech Trade Inspection Authority – this cannot be tolerated!

Warning: hidden automatic membership renewals are a new scam!
My experience with Alza’s complaints department has been very negative. After my claim regarding a mobile phone worth approximately 3,500 Kč had been settled, I was unable to collect the device in time. The phone was returned to the warehouse and, according to Alza, was disposed of once the two-month period had elapsed. I did not receive any further notification regarding the approaching deadline or the planned liquidation. I understand that the shop has a policy regarding uncollected claims, but I find it very unfortunate that the customer is not contacted once more before their property is destroyed. In my case, this resulted in the loss of a mobile phone worth several thousand crowns. What disappointed me most was the attitude of the customer support team, who simply referred me to the complaints procedure without making any effort to find a reasonable solution. From a company the size of Alza, I would expect a customer-friendly approach and, at the very least, a warning before the goods are permanently disposed of. Unfortunately, this experience has significantly reduced my confidence in Alza’s services.
You order a monthly membership but there is no information that your membership will be automatically renewed. For me, it's another automatic extension steal.
I ordered AlzaPlus+ only because of the goods I was ordering, I cancelled it and you have not cancelled AlzaPlus+
