I was looking for a replacement for my two year old 24" Eiza. I mostly work with the web (half desktop code, half preview) and occasionally some audio + video editing. First I went to the 43" DELL - the problem was that the 16:9 was already quite portrait, so the constant up/down movement and the fact that the screen was flat also the refocusing and rapid eye fatigue. I traded for this piece and I have to say it was a good choice. The raster is a bit softer than the 43", but it's still easy to look at and the curvature doesn't cause as much eye strain. I use the monitor with both a MacBook and an old PC, and KVM makes it very convenient to transfer data between the two platforms.
The curvature is subtle, just enough so that you don't feel that the monitor ends around the corner and that it doesn't splash on your ears
