You can stick its extended probe directly into roasting meat. This digital thermometer with a display is made of stainless steel and plastic and comes with a protective cover. It offers a choice of units and displays values in either °C or °F. The ORION thermometer features a min/max recording function. It is powered by an LR754 battery, which is included in the package.
