The Ubiquiti UniFi WiFi BaseStation XG outdoor access point is a powerful device that provides reliable internet connectivity in crowded places such as music festivals, concerts, sports halls, etc. With three high-bandwidth 5 GHz radio sections, the unit can serve up to 1500 connected devices (recommended maximum is 750 client devices). Thanks to advanced 4×4 MU-MIMO technology, each radio part achieves modulation speeds of up to 1733 Mbps, while the signal strength and reliability is enhanced by advanced beamforming technology. The UniFi WiFi BaseStation XG features a dual adjustable antenna with 10 dBi gain at a 90° radiation angle and 15 dBi gain at a 50° radiation angle. Reliable data transfer over Ethernet is provided by a pair of ports (1×10/100/1000 Mbps, 1×1/10 Gbps IMC). The access point is powered by active POE 802.3bt, or you can use the included POE adapter (50 V / 1.2 A) with a gigabit port.

To control the device and configure the network, you need to download the original UniFi controller software from the official website, which is completely free and without any restrictions. Using the UniFi controller, you can upload maps and set basic access point parameters such as SSID, guest account, and homepage. You can also quickly and easily view traffic statistics, list and status of connected clients and many other data.
UniFi WiFi BaseStation XG uses 4×4 MU-MIMO technology
With 4×4 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi technology that uses four antennas to transmit and four antennas to receive data, the UniFi WiFi BaseStation XG can communicate with up to four devices simultaneously. Dividing wireless capacity among multiple users increases network performance and data transfer speeds, which is especially useful in areas with many connected devices.
