The Ubiquiti UniFi Protect UVC-G6-Bullet IP camera captures the monitored area in 3840 × 2160 px resolution with a wide screen size viewing angle of 134.1°. This outdoor bullet-style device offers classic infrared night vision with a range of up to 30m and a quad-core processor for intelligent detection of people, vehicles, or animals. Power is supplied via an Ethernet cable using PoE technology in the 37–57V DC range, which makes it easy to mount on a wall, ceiling, or pole. The durable polycarbonate and aluminium alloy body withstands adverse weather conditions thanks to its IP66 rating.

Image Parameters
At the heart of the device is a 1/1.8" 8MP CMOS sensor that records video at up to 30 frames per second. The fixed lens provides a horizontal field of view of 109.9° and a vertical angle of 56.7°. Data is stored using H.264 compression, which reduces storage capacity requirements while maintaining high detail. The image is enhanced by HDR and 2D/3D noise reduction features.
Night Vision
Integrated infrared illumination allows for surveillance in low-light conditions. The built-in IR LEDs illuminate the scene up to a distance of 30m. An infrared filter automatically switches modes based on the intensity of the ambient light. This allows the camera to capture high-contrast black and white images even in complete darkness.
Detection and Smart Features
The quad-core processor with artificial intelligence performs advanced analysis of the captured scene in real time. The system recognises people, vehicles, animals, faces, and car licence plates. When a selected event is detected, the system sends an instant mobile notification to the user. Features for masking private zones, text overlays, and Motion Detection 2.0 technology are also available.
Audio Capabilities
The device records not only video but also the ambient sound spectrum. An integrated microphone captures acoustic stimuli in the monitored area. The audio recording is saved along with the video recording for a complete overview of what is happening in the vicinity. This makes it easier to identify situations that occur outside the lens's field of view.
Durability and Installation
The aluminium alloy and polycarbonate construction meets the IP66 rating for resistance to dust and jetting water. Mechanical protection is indicated by the IK04 certification, and the device operates in a temperature range from -20 to 50°C. The camera can be installed on a wall, ceiling, or pole according to the specific needs of the location. Its dimensions with the bracket are Ø 82 × 153mm, and it weighs 737g.
Connectivity and Application
Network connectivity is provided by a single RJ-45 Ethernet port with a speed of 10/100Mb/s. Both data transfer and PoE power in the 37–57V DC range are handled via a single cable. Management and setup are done in the UniFi Protect mobile app for Android and iOS operating systems. The system supports all-day recording and secure storage of recordings to cloud storage.
