Proactive threat detection, face and number plate recognition
The system constantly evaluates video streams from connected cameras and searches for specific objects. Artificial intelligence algorithms proactively search for people and vehicles based on defined criteria. Users receive instant notifications about non-standard situations in the monitored area. Detection works reliably in various lighting conditions. The device adds advanced object recognition features even for older G4 and G5 cameras. The hardware unit offers a higher capacity for face identification than the standard AI Port interface. The analysis results are saved to an internal database for later quick retrieval. Processing is handled efficiently depending on the current length of the event queue.
Unit integration and effective event queue management
The device works closely with the UniFi Protect application, extending its basic functions. Linking with the Alarm Manager tool triggers defined alarms based on the results. You can set up to five different search queries to activate an alarm. The entire setup process takes place within a unified user interface. All incoming events are placed in an internal queue with a capacity of 200 positions. Under high load, the system processes events in the order they are received. In case of sustained overload, additional units can be added to the system. This shortens the response time, which can be several minutes when the queue is full.
