TP-Link EAP727, Omada
TP-Link EAP727, Omada
The TP-Link EAP727 ceiling-mounted Wi-Fi 7 access point lets you create a fast and stable wireless network in offices, hotels, restaurants, shops, or other spaces with high connectivity demands. Thanks to dual-band Wi-Fi 7, it achieves total speeds of up to 5.0Gb/s, providing plenty of performance for transferring large files, video conferencing, streaming, and other data-intensive activities. The TP-Link Omada EAP727 access point supports WPA3 security, can handle over 510 simultaneously connected clients, and offers coverage of up to 185m². For fast connection to your infrastructure, it features a 2.5GbE port with 802.3at PoE+ support, which allows you to transfer data and power the device through a single Ethernet cable, or alternatively use DC power. Omada Mesh technology and seamless roaming let you build a more extensive Wi-Fi network and move smoothly between compatible access points. Through the Omada SDN platform, you can integrate the TP-Link EAP727 into a centrally managed network and conveniently monitor and configure it from a single location, including remote access via the cloud.

Wireless Wi-Fi 7 with speeds up to 5.0Gb/s
The TP-Link EAP727 access point uses modern Wi-Fi 7 technology to ensure a fast and smooth wireless connection even with heavy network traffic. 4K-QAM technology transmits 12 bits per symbol compared to 10 bits in Wi-Fi 6, enabling up to 20% more data to be transferred. Additionally, Multi-Link Operation (MLO) allows compatible devices to use multiple wireless bands simultaneously, contributing to higher throughput, lower latency, and a more reliable connection.
- 2.4GHz – 688Mb/s
- 5GHz – 4324Mb/s
Access point with PoE support offers fast connection via a 2.5GbE port
With its 2.5GbE Ethernet port, the TP-Link EAP727 access point provides sufficient bandwidth to take advantage of high Wi-Fi 7 speeds and fast communication with the wired network. Thanks to 802.3at PoE+ support, you can simultaneously transfer data and power the access point through a single Ethernet cable. This eliminates the need for a separate power cable and electrical socket at the installation site.
Advanced Wi-Fi network security
The TP-Link EAP727 access point offers advanced security features that help protect your business and public wireless networks:
- WPA/WPA2/WPA3 for wireless network security
- Option to create a separate guest network with up to 16 SSIDs
- SMS login - ideal for providing Wi-Fi to customers in a hotel, restaurant or shop
- Rogue AP Detection helps to detect unauthorised access points
Easily integrate the TP-Link EAP727 into Omada SDN
You can easily integrate the TP-Link EAP727 into the Omada SDN platform, which allows you to centrally manage network devices from a single location. Within a single infrastructure, you can connect and manage Omada ceiling, wall, and outdoor access points together with compatible PoE switches and VPN gateways. With cloud access, you can conveniently monitor and configure the network remotely via the web interface or the Omada app, simplifying the management of a larger corporate network or multiple sites.
