The Mindbug Első találkozás board game offers fast-paced tactical duels for two opponents, pitting bizarre creatures against each other. Players try to defeat their opponent using cards with diverse abilities and attacks. The key feature is the Mindbug mechanic, which gives you the chance to steal a card right in the middle of your opponent's turn. Every decision can instantly turn the tide of the entire game. This tactical card game demands quick reactions and perfect timing for both defence and attack. The game is designed for 2 players aged 8 and up, and one game takes 15–25 minutes.

A battle of two minds and the objective of the game
Playing as powerful creators, players summon bizarre mutants with unusual abilities into battle. The goal is to reduce the opponent's life points to zero while protecting your own. You start with a limited number of cards that you must manage carefully. Clever planning and predicting your opponent's moves are the cornerstones of success. Every card in the deck has the potential to decide the entire duel.
Turn sequence and the Mindbug mechanic
On your turn, you can either play a new creature card or attack with a monster you already have on the table. However, your opponent can react to your play by using one of their two Mindbug tokens. This allows your opponent to take control of the creature you just played, immediately bringing it over to their side. This mechanic creates constant tension, forcing you to bluff and bait your opponent into using their defences prematurely.

The game set includes everything you need to start a game immediately, with no lengthy setup required. Inside the box, you'll find 48× colourful creature cards with original illustrations and 4× Mindbug cards. 2× life counters and 2× player aids are used to track the state of the game. All components are made of sturdy paper and are accompanied by a game description in Hungarian.
