Lexibook Digital Rechargeable Radios with range up to 5 km with charging station, 8 channels

Lexibook walkie-talkies with detachable clip-on clips offer an easy way to stay connected over long distances of up to 5 kilometres. Use them for hikes and all outdoor adventures (depending on terrain and weather conditions, it is recommended to use them in flat open spaces). The radios have 8 communication channels and can communicate with several radios simultaneously (2 units included). The active channel is shown on the backlit display and the "scan" function scans and searches all available channels. You can send a ringtone to alert recipients that you want to talk to them, and the built-in LED light is handy in the dark or for sending coded messages. You will also appreciate the adjustable volume and icons indicating the transmission or reception mode or the low battery indicator. You can choose between low and high power, which affects battery life and transmission range.

Dual power option

The radios operate on two 3.6V rechargeable Ni-MH 550mAh batteries (included). Before installing the batteries, first remove the belt clip located on the compartment. Plug in the adapter on the back of the charging station (included) and plug the other end of the adapter into an electrical outlet. The radios can then be placed on the charging station. Alternatively, you can use six 1.2 V DC AAA batteries (not included).

They allow family members to stay in touch even when they are out of mobile signal range when hiking or camping, and play an important role in crowded spaces where it can be easy for children to get lost.
