Isle of Cats
Isle of Cats
Rescue the cats from the mysterious island
Macskák szigete is a competitive board game where players try to rescue as many members as possible of the ancient, wise, wild, and playful cat nation from their home island. They must explore the island, rescue cats, collect ancient treasures, and load everything onto their boat to make a safe return before the island is destroyed by the approaching army of the dreaded Archmage Vesh. Alongside the challenge for experienced players, the game also offers a simplified mode for family play and a solo variant. Macskák szigete is designed for 1–4 players aged 8 and up. The boat must be loaded cleverly
The cats and treasures that players find on the island in Macskák szigete are represented by different-shaped tiles. The players' task is to figure out how to load as many of them onto the boat as possible and, if they can, keep the cat families together. At the same time, they must make clever use of available resources in the form of caught sea fish to lure the cats onto the boat. They can also bring aboard a rare cat from the mythical Oshax breed, which can join any cat family. Victory points are then awarded to players for completing private and public objectives, collecting treasures, and of course, rescuing cat families.
