The storyteller's role and guessing the right cards

Each participant regularly takes on the role of the storyteller during the game. Their task is to describe the chosen picture in such a way that the clue is not understood by everyone present, but at the same time not by none of them either. The others try to guess the original card and get points for a correct tip. Successful guesses move the pieces along the scoring track and bring players closer to overall victory in the game. Points are also awarded for deceiving opponents with your own played card.

Course of the round and secret scoring

The round begins with a secret choice of a card, to which the active player assigns an association. Subsequently, all other players choose a picture from their hand that best corresponds to the spoken idea. All selected cards are shuffled together and laid face up on the table. Then, a secret vote takes place, during which everyone tries to reveal the storyteller's card and avoid the opponents' traps. At the end of each round, points are redistributed and new cards are drawn.

Hungarian edition and expansion compatibility

This expansion brings a new set of illustrations that expand the visual diversity of the base game. The cards are made of sturdy cardboard and high-grammage paper for long life. All game components and the printed instructions are supplied in Hungarian. The game comes in a box measuring 27 × 12 × 4cm, which can reliably hold all the included cards. To play the full game, you must own the base version of Dixit or Dixit Odyssey.
