The Csótánypó board game brings exciting bluffing to the table with illustrations of unpopular animals. Players try to pass off cards with cockroaches, spiders or toads to their opponents and force them to make a wrong guess. The aim is to avoid collecting four of the same animal or one of each type, which means an instant loss. During the game, you must constantly guess the intentions of other players and mask your own. Although the technical specifications state a game length of 20 minutes, the game itself is fast-paced and doesn't take too long. This board game is designed for 2–6 players aged 8 and over, and one game lasts 20 minutes.

Bluffing and a psychological battle with cards
During their turn, players try to pass a card face down to a chosen opponent and claim what creature is on it. The recipient of the card must decide whether to believe the opponent's claim or to try a bluff of their own. A wrong guess means accepting an unwanted card into your own collection and moving closer to defeat. Collecting four cards with the same animal results in a loss.
Discrepancy in game time and actual gameplay
In reality, however, this is a fast-paced card game with a smooth flow. The fast game mechanics prevent long delays and allow a game to be played in just a few minutes. The game thus offers instant fun without complicated setup.
Artwork and card durability
The package contains 64 cardboard cards depicting eight different types of animals, including cockroaches, spiders and scorpions. The artwork was created by Rolf Vogt, who gave the creatures a distinctive look. The sturdy cardboard cards hold up well to frequent use during repeated shuffling and dealing. The package also includes game instructions in Hungarian.
