Player roles and secret objectives

At the start of the game, players receive secret role cards that determine their objectives. The sheriff tries to eliminate the outlaws, while the outlaws aim to kill the sheriff, and the renegade fights alone. The expansion also brings eight role cards and fifteen characters with unique abilities. These abilities fundamentally change the tactical options for every participant at the table. The expanded roster of roles allows up to eight players to join a single game.

Gameplay and delayed cards

Players take turns drawing and playing cards, attacking opponents, and healing their wounds. A key element is the green-bordered cards, which are played face down in front of the player. You cannot use these cards in the round you play them, but only in subsequent rounds. Green cards let you plan actions in advance. The distance between individual players continues to play a key role in determining weapon range.

Game variants for different player counts

The expansion includes modified rules that adapt the game to specific numbers of players. In a three-player game, each player has a clearly defined goal based on their role, and the winner is the one who personally deals the killing blow to their target. In an eight-player game, two renegades enter the play, fighting as lone cowboys. This ensures all participants have balanced conditions to achieve victory.
