The board game Az erdő: Felfedezés kiegészítő brings new planning and development possibilities to your forest ecosystem. During the game, players combine plant and animal cards with the goal of creating the most valuable natural environment possible. This expansion requires the base game of Forest to play. The add-on pack contains special cave and animal cards that influence existing strategic approaches. Species like the red panda, elk, or cuckoo enter the game. The title can be played by 1–5 players aged 10 and over, and one game takes approximately 40–60 minutes.

Creating a rich forest ecosystem
Players take on the role of forest creators, trying to build the richest possible living environment. Using a card-drawing mechanic, they place various types of plants and animals in their forest. Each card provides specific points or abilities that affect the final scoring. The right combination of flora and fauna determines overall success and the number of victory points earned. By connecting individual elements, a functional ecosystem is created that reacts to opponents' moves.
Diverse landscape and unexpected inhabitants
The expansion enriches the game deck with special species of animals and plants, including the red panda, elk, cuckoo, and stork. Players can explore mysterious caves with unique properties that change their existing game plans. The Troll introduces an element of interaction and allows players to disrupt the plans of other participants at the table. This expansion works with the base game as well as in combination with the earlier Alps and Shrubs add-ons. You can also explore the entire forest world in a standalone solo mode for one player.
Game components in Hungarian
This add-on pack contains paper game components that match the standards of the base game. All game text on the cards and the included rules are entirely in Hungarian. Players will find a complete Hungarian localisation inside the box.
