The fixed network Teltonika LTE Router modem is used for wireless and wired connection of industrial devices to the internet in an indoor environment. This device combines two separate LTE Cat 6 mobile modems for continuous operation of critical applications with download speeds of up to 600Mbps. The IP30-rated design withstands demanding temperatures from -40°C to 75°C for operation in harsh conditions. The integrated system automatically switches between two Mini SIM cards in case of signal loss or when the data limit is reached.

Dual Mobile Connectivity with the Teltonika Router
The device contains two LTE category 6 mobile modems that operate simultaneously. The transfer speed for each module is up to 300Mbps for downloading and 50Mbps for uploading data. The load balancing function distributes data traffic between the available network interfaces. Two Mini SIM card slots are complemented by support for eSIM consumer technology for tariff management.
Dual-Band Wi-Fi 5
Wireless connectivity is provided by the 802.11ac Wave 2 standard with a total transfer speed of up to 867Mbps. The router broadcasts in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, while MU-MIMO technology serves multiple end devices at once. The wireless module supports the connection of up to 150 users simultaneously. Short-range communication with external sensors is complemented by Bluetooth 4.0 LE technology.
Data Security in the LTE Router
Internal network protection is provided by an integrated firewall with the option of configuration via the CLI command line. WPA3-SAE, WPA2-Enterprise, and WEP encryption protects wireless transmission from unauthorised access. Wide support for VPN protocols including OpenVPN and IPsec creates encrypted tunnels for remote management. DDoS attack prevention stops the network infrastructure from being overloaded.
Industrial Design
The casing and panels are made of anodised aluminium with an IP30 protection rating. The device operates in harsh conditions with a temperature range from -40°C to 75°C. The industrial four-pin socket accepts DC voltage in the range of 9 to 50V with reverse polarity protection. Power can also be supplied via passive PoE through the LAN1 port. Power consumption in idle mode drops below 4W, and maximum consumption does not exceed 22W. The design is suitable for mounting on a DIN rail, wall or flat surface.
Advanced Networking with the Industrial Router
The RutOS operating system, built on Linux OpenWrt, offers extensive routing and network management options. An integrated GNSS receiver processes signals from GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and QZSS systems for location tracking. Quality of Service is managed by a QoS network traffic prioritisation tool. Support for Modbus and MQTT protocols facilitates integration into Industrial Internet of Things systems.
Physical Interfaces and Ports
Wired connectivity offers four gigabit LAN ports and one gigabit WAN port. The interface is complemented by one USB 2.0 port for connecting external storage or additional modems. Eight detachable external antennas are connected using standard SMA and RP-SMA connectors. A digital input and output are used to monitor and trigger events based on set conditions.
