The digital pitch control function lets you finely adjust the rotation speed within a ±8% or ±16% range and ensures stable and precise changes without unnecessary signal conversion. For even greater creativity, the turntable also features a reverse playback function and supports speeds of 33.3, 45 and 78 RPM.

Coreless direct-drive motor for stable rotation
The direct-drive system of the SL-1200MK7EG turntable uses a slow-rotating motor to drive the platter directly, offering high performance, precision, and high torque without the need to replace parts. While traditional direct-drive systems suffered from rotation irregularities (cogging), the SL-1200MK7 is equipped with a new coreless direct-drive motor that eliminates this problem. The motor's enhanced magnetic force and the optimised gap between the stator and rotor ensure smooth rotation and high torque, comparable to the SL-1200MK5 model. The result is a precise and faithful reproduction of the sound from your records.
Precise tonearm with LED stylus illumination
The tonearm features a reliable, universal S-shaped design with static balance. Thanks to high-precision bearings, it offers better initial motion sensitivity than the SL-1200MK6. This means it accurately tracks the record's grooves, ensuring excellent performance and minimal stylus skipping, even on badly scratched sections. The new stylus illuminator is designed for easy and intuitive use with a simple push of a button. It contains a high-brightness, long-life white LED that ensures you can see the stylus tip even in low-light conditions. Durable construction with vibration isolation
The advanced chassis design, inspired by high-end turntables, reduces external vibrations and ensures authentic sound quality.
