Space Tune function for sound optimisation
The Technics Audio Centre app further extends the control possibilities of the SC-CX700. The app has four main functions, so switching playback content and setting up the device can be done intuitively. The SC-CX700 features three Space Tune functions. A function for easy selection from four presets that can be set separately for the left and right speakers, a Space Tune Auto function for automatic adjustment with easy operation using the built-in microphone, and a measurement function for more precise measurements and corrections using the Technics Audio Centre app.
Harmonised with the interior
The SC-CX700 features a Dinamica microfibre shell with a soft suede texture, which is partly made from high-quality recycled polyester. The unit's elegant appearance blends in with any interior. The Technics system combines a range of technologies for speakers, amplifiers and signal processing. With the SC-CX700, Technics has created a single integrated solution that faithfully reproduces music and other sounds down to the smallest detail.
System Type
An active speaker is one that has a built-in amplifier and all you need to do to listen is connect it to a sound source, either wired or wirelessly.Passive speakers are more often referred to as speaker systems. They are designed more for high-quality, loud and dynamic listening in the comfort of your home and are not suitable for frequent transport. The main advantage of passive speakers is the ability to connect a variety of sources through a separate amplifier.
Number of Channels
The number of channels in speaker systems and home cinemas indicates the number of independent audio signals (speakers) and subwoofers, most often in the format X.Y (e.g. 2.0, 5.1). It indicates how many audio tracks are reproduced simultaneously, which determines the spatial experience and bass depth of the system, from basic stereo sound (2.0) to surround (5.1 and more).Specifications
