Tamron has optimised the actuator and control algorithm to incorporate VC into the Tamron SP 10-24mm F/3.5-4.5 Di II VC HLD while still retaining the original, popular design of the previous B001 model. This increases the stabilisation of your shots, so you can take handheld shots with long exposure times without worrying about jittery effects.

HLD for Precise and Fast Autofocus

The Tamron SP 10-24mm F/3.5-4.5 Di II VC HLD introduces the HLD (high/low torque-modulated Drive) AF drive system which enables you to capture images exactly as you see them. The power of the new HLD gives you stable and precise focusing, even with the large focusing elements used on the B023. You can also make adjustments using the Full-time Manual Focus override without having to switch from auto to manual mode.

Outstanding Optical Performance Throughout the Magnification Range

Despite its compact dimensions, the optical design includes 16 elements in 11 groups that ensure outstanding image quality in all conditions. A large aspherical lens and LD(Low Dispersion) elements are incorporated into the system to ensure high resolution throughout the focus range. The lens also corrects comatic and transverse chromatic aberration and the distortion that often occurs on other wide-angle lenses. This provides a consistent image without distortion across the whole zoom range. Exclusive Tamron BBAR coating (Broad-band Anti-Reflection) then improves light transmission while suppressing reflection and dispersion on the lens surface.
