High performance with an Intel Xeon processor
The device is powered by a six-core Intel Xeon D-1531 processor with a base frequency of 2.2GHz and a turbo frequency of up to 2.7GHz. The 16GB of DDR4 ECC system memory minimises the risk of errors and keeps several demanding applications running smoothly at the same time. The RAM consists of two 8GB modules, and users can expand it up to a total of 48GB using the four available slots if needed. The hardware configuration handles a large number of data operations without any drop in system responsiveness.
Scalable storage
The basic design includes 12 bays for both 3.5" and 2.5" SATA hard drives and SSDs. The capacity can be further increased by connecting two DX1222 expansion units for a total of 36 bays via the Mini-SAS HD interface. The device supports RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, RAID 6, RAID 10, JBOD and RAID F1 configurations to protect data against hardware failure. Hot-swap support makes it easy to replace drives while the system is running, preventing unwanted system downtime.
Fast network connectivity
The server has two integrated 10GbE RJ-45 ports and two 1GbE RJ-45 ports for fast data transfer on your business network. The integrated third-generation PCIe slot is used for installing additional network cards with speeds up to 25GbE or M.2 NVMe SSD adapters. Out-of-band management simplifies remote troubleshooting, even when the system is turned off.
A comprehensive backup solution for your NAS
The integrated Active Backup Suite software package unifies the backup of physical and virtual environments into a single interface. Users can effectively protect Windows computers, Microsoft 365 accounts, Google Workspace, and VMware and Hyper-V virtual machines. Built-in deduplication significantly reduces storage space requirements.
Certified for virtualisation
The device works seamlessly with the leading virtualisation platforms on the market. Support for VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Citrix XenServer and OpenStack makes integration into existing corporate infrastructures easy and speeds up data transfers. Management is handled directly from the hypervisor thanks to the integration of VMware VAAI and Windows ODX tools. A Kubernetes CSI driver is also available for direct volume provisioning and management from the command line, simplifying work in container environments.
Advanced surveillance system
The system can be transformed into a network video recorder using the Surveillance Station application. The device can handle simultaneous recording from up to 90 IP cameras and supports over 7900 compatible models. Recordings stored on local storage are protected by AES-256 encryption, and users have access to intelligent real-time monitoring features. The system sends automatic alerts for security events, helping to protect the company's physical premises.
