Tropico and base have taped seams, which guarantees water resistance even in heavy rain. Integrated underlay protects against draughts and prevents insect penetration. A mesh panel with an adjustable cover at the back of the tent ensures optimal ventilation. Ventilation panels in the bedroom and roll-up mesh doors ensure a sufficient supply of fresh air. The internal height of the Vango tent allows comfortable movement even for taller figures. The large front doors can be opened fully or partially as required. Daylight is let in through the large Diamond Clear windows, which can be blacked out with roller blinds. The Vango Sierra Air 300 DeepBlue tent is anchored with plastic pegs in the corners by the orange tent loops. Thanks to the tensioning cords in a striking orange colour, the tent is easily visible even in twilight, which increases the safety of movement around it. At the same time, these cords contribute to the strength of the entire structure. The anchoring system can be easily adjusted as needed, so the tent holds well even on less level surfaces. The structure is made of Sentinel solid fabric with ColourLok Eco technology, which ensures higher resistance to sunlight and longer material life. The fabric is also waterproof, with a water column value of 4,000 mm, providing reliable protection against rain. A pump is included for easy inflation. The pump includes a pressure gauge and can be stored in a storage bag.

Water column
Indicates the resistance of the fabric and seams to water leakage. Indicates the amount of water that the material is able to hold before it begins to leak. The higher the value in mm, the higher the resistance of the tent. Each tent should have a tropical canopy with a water column of at least 2,000 mm, which is approximately the pressure exerted by a raindrop flying at 80-90 km/h. If you want to weather the storm unscathed, a water column of at least 3,000 mm is a better bet. A water column of 5,000 mm is recommended for normal hiking.
