Easy preparation of Spaderm paraffin in a tub
For use in a paraffin bath, you must first gently separate the paraffin beads from the plastic packaging, remove the lid of the bath and pour the desired amount into the heating apparatus. The melting point and solidification of paraffin can be controlled by adding paraffin oil at a ratio of 1:10. Generally, the more oil you add, the longer the paraffin remains applicable. A higher oil content also makes the paraffin more oily, which may not always be appropriate, so it is important to adjust the amount of oil to the intended therapeutic effect.
