Shimano MTB winter shoes SH-MW702, black EU 39

Shimano SH-MW702 MTB winter shoes are designed for mountain biking in the cold, wet conditions of autumn and winter. Thanks to the waterproof and insulated GORE-TEX Insulated Comfort membrane, they keep your feet warm and dry. The BOA® L6C dial ensures a secure and precise fit, protected by a neoprene cuff that prevents water and dirt from getting in. The ULTREAD XC outsole provides excellent grip when walking on rough terrain.

Protection from the elements

The core of the protection against cold and moisture is the GORE-TEX Insulated Comfort membrane, which combines waterproofing with breathability and lightweight insulation. This keeps your feet dry from the outside and the inside. A high neoprene cuff around the ankle fits snugly and effectively prevents water, mud, and cold air from entering the shoe. This cuff also protects the BOA® L6C closure system, ensuring its function remains reliable even in challenging conditions.

Outsole and closure system

The shoes feature a lightweight nylon ULTREAD XC outsole, optimised for efficient power transfer to the pedals. Aggressively shaped lugs and an anti-slip rubber compound guarantee a secure grip and stability when walking on slippery or loose terrain. The BOA® L6C system ensures a firm and even fit around the foot. The dial allows you to easily and quickly adjust the tightness with one hand, even while riding. A reinforced toe cap protects your toes from impacts, enhancing safety.
