The POC Ventral Air MIPS bike helmet is designed with precision ventilation ports and internal channels that control airflow at both low and high speeds. This ensures excellent cooling across the entire head. The Ventral Air Mips model improves the rider's aerodynamic profile and minimises air resistance. Specific airflow zones enhance ventilation and cooling, while the aerodynamically optimised trailing edge reduces turbulence. This exceptionally lightweight road helmet was developed in line with POC's Whole Helmet Concept. It features a fully wrapped unibody shell and an EPS liner, providing an ideal balance between weight and safety. The addition of Mips technology enhances protection against rotational impacts. Practical features include a lightweight size adjustment system for a perfect fit and an integrated 'eye garage' for securely storing your glasses during the ride.

Protection, Construction and Fit

The Ventral Air Mips helmet is equipped with Mips Air Node technology, a low-friction layer laminated directly onto the comfort padding that increases head protection during rotational impacts. For maximum safety and low weight, the helmet features an optimised EPS liner that absorbs shocks and distributes energy in the event of a fall. The fully wrapped unibody PC shell contributes to the overall durability and strength of the construction, significantly increasing the helmet's structural stability. A perfect fit for any head shape is ensured by the adjustable 360° fit system, which allows for quick and precise size adjustments.

Aerodynamics, Ventilation and Practical Details

Cooling and airflow are managed by internal ventilation channels, designed to efficiently dissipate heat at any speed without negatively affecting aerodynamic performance. The helmet's aerodynamics have been optimised using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) testing, which helped to minimise turbulence and air resistance. The front of the helmet is equipped with special high-friction pads, the 'eye garage', which allow for the secure and convenient storage of sunglasses during a ride. A note regarding the fluorescent colours used – they do not contain harmful chemicals and are therefore more sensitive to UV radiation. Any fading of the colours is a completely natural process and does not in any way diminish the functionality or quality of the product.
