POC Cularis white M

The POC Cularis bike helmet is a lightweight helmet designed for fast and fun trail riding. The design is engineered for maximum comfort when pedaling in technical environments and uses advanced ventilation technology familiar from road helmets to effectively cool even under hard use. Optimisations for ventilation and comfort make it the lightest trail helmet on offer to date, while still providing reliable protection for fast XC and downcountry riding. The airflow through and around the helmet has been carefully analysed and refined using CFD (computational flow modelling), ensuring efficient cooling regardless of the pace or technical demands of the route. In terms of safety, Cularis offers extended protection zones and a solid construction in the same style as the Kortal and Otocon models. Its properties guarantee reliable protection in contact with various obstacles in the field.

Thoughtful details for added protection and comfort

Other key features include POC's patented detachable visor, which releases in the event of an impact to help deflect the force of a blow away from the head. The visor is also adjustable, so you can easily find the ideal position against sun, rain or mud. Aramid reinforcements between the liner and shell increase structural strength and puncture protection, while the Mips Air Node provides increased protection during rotational impacts. Ventilation holes in the front of the helmet serve as a secure storage area for your goggles while riding, and the magnetic Fidlock® buckle allows for convenient one-handed fastening.

Technology for maximum protection and comfort

The lightweight PC shell increases the structural stability of the helmet, while the expanded polystyrene (EPS) liner is designed to provide increased protection in the most stressed areas during impact. Ventilation has been optimised using CFD (computational fluid dynamics) simulations, which together with sophisticated airflow ensures efficient dissipation of body heat and a pleasant cooling during the ride. The patented breakaway visor automatically releases in the event of an accident, helping to reduce the risk of neck injuries. The helmet can be easily adjusted using the fully adjustable 360° clamping system, which ensures a secure and comfortable fit on the head.

Safety and practicality in every detail

Extended protection zones at the temples and back of the head provide a higher level of safety in the areas most at risk in a fall. The practical Eye Garage storage solution allows you to safely stow your sunglasses in the front vents while riding. The magnetic Fidlock® buckle ensures quick and easy one-handed fastening of the helmet. Increased protection against rotational impacts is provided by the integrated Mips Air Node system, which also contributes to the overall wearing comfort.
