MSR Elixir 3 green
The MSR Elixir 3 is a reliable, very lightweight and surprisingly spacious tent for three and offers users high comfort and excellent workmanship. MSR Elixir 3 has been developed as a wonderfully livable, lightweight tent suitable for trekking and backpacking. This versatile tent combines the features of lightweight mesh and solid fabric to maintain thermal comfort and good ventilation. Entrances on two sides can be used for even better ventilation and the entrance area is protected by a large hallway, which can be used as additional storage space. Thanks to the included footprint mat, you can not only protect your tent, but you can also turn the Elixir into a simple shelter. Certainly thanks to other details such as StayDry™ inputs, adjustable ventilation or colour differentiation of the anchors. The duralumin construction stands out for its lightness and durability and the tent surface is made of nylon.

Water column
Indicates the resistance of the fabric and seams to water leakage. Indicates the amount of water that the material is able to hold before it begins to leak. The higher the value in mm, the higher the resistance of the tent. Each tent should have a tropical canopy with a water column of at least 2,000 mm, which is approximately the pressure exerted by a raindrop flying at 80-90 km/h. If you want to weather the storm unscathed, a water column of at least 3,000 mm is a better bet. A water column of 5,000 mm is recommended for normal hiking. For more demanding conditions, choose a subfloor with a water column of 8,000-10,000 mm.Specifications
