MET helmet RIVALE MIPS black matt/gloss L

MET RIVALE MIPS is an adult road cycling helmet created using the latest In-Mould Intelligent Fusion technology. In-mould construction consists of an outer polycarbonate that is injection moulded at high temperatures into usually grey or black polystyrene. The helmet uses the Safe-T Upsilon occipital clamping system, which is designed to ensure that the helmet stays firmly on the rider's head. There is a control disc at the back of the helmet for easy one-handed size adjustment. Thanks to a wider contact area with better ventilation, the pressure on the head is evenly distributed, providing greater comfort. The Air Lite tapes with adjustable splitter for maximum aerodynamics and comfort are made with a revolutionary polyester fibre weaving method, providing excellent sweat wicking and high tensile strength at a lighter weight, and the antibacterial Coolmax padding ensures fast sweat wicking and evaporation, keeping your head dry and bringing more comfort.

RIVALE - the new standard in aerodynamics

The MET RIVALE MIPS helmet was created thanks to hours of testing in the jet tunnel and real-life testing by the Team MTN Qhubeka stable. The precisely shaped low profile of the helmet uses the Venturi effect to maximise airflow with the minimum possible drag. Through the channels inside the helmet, heat is pushed out through the rear vents, providing a great cooling effect. In addition, the helmet includes a slip-resistant MIPS liner to minimize rotational energy generated when falling on the head.
