The GIRO Register II MIPS W women's cycling helmet is designed for recreational mountain bikers and cycle tourists. It combines a lightweight In-mould construction with advanced protection against rotational forces. Your safety is ensured by the MIPS Evolve Core technology, which absorbs energy during angled impacts. Comfort while riding is guaranteed by 19 vents and quick-drying, antibacterial Coolmax padding. The size can be easily adjusted using the dial.

MIPS Technology for Enhanced Safety

The helmet is equipped with MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) technology, which enhances head protection. This system consists of a low-friction layer between the EPS shell and the inner padding. In the event of an angled impact, it allows the helmet shell to rotate a few millimetres independently of the head. Although the movement is minimal, MIPS significantly reduces the amount of rotational force that would otherwise be transferred to the brain and could cause serious injury.

Lightweight Construction and Effective Ventilation

The helmet's construction uses In-mould technology, where the outer polycarbonate shell is firmly bonded to the inner EPS foam liner. The result is lightweight yet robust protection. An optimal airflow is managed by a system with a total of 19 vents. These are complemented by deep internal channels that direct air over the head, helping to maintain comfort even on warm days. The front vents are also protected by an insect net.

Comfort and a Custom Fit

For maximum comfort, the helmet is equipped with the Roc Loc® Sport fit system. You can easily adjust the size with one hand using the dial, ensuring the helmet always fits perfectly. The inner pads are made from Coolmax material, which is quick-drying and has antibacterial properties. If needed, you can easily remove and wash them. The removable Snap-Fit 2 visor, which protects against the sun or rain, also helps to customise the fit.
