How to set the Aerolite suitcase's TSA lock
You can change the number combination by following these steps:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (the factory default code is 0-0-0).
2. Push the reset button with a pen or other pointed object until you hear a click.
3. Set your new number on the dial and be sure to remember it.
4. Push the button in the direction of the arrow.
The reset button will return to its original position and you will hear a click. Your new code is now set. If you wish to change your code, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pullers to open the suitcase, enter the correct code and push the button in the direction of the arrow (the factory default is 0-0-0 if you have not yet set your own code).
TSA lock
The main purpose of a TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to enable luggage to be easily opened for inspection without causing damage. This also helps to speed up the inspection process. TSA security officers can use this type of lock to open and check luggage without having to break the lock. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of universal key used to open that specific lock. TSA lock keys are not sold to the public and are only available to TSA agents. After inspecting the luggage, these officers are required to place a notice of inspection inside your suitcase and must re-lock it. This system is particularly recommended when travelling to the USA, as the TSA is primarily an American organisation, but TSA standards are also used at airports outside the United States.Specifications
