Instructions for setting the Aerolite suitcase TSA lock
You can change the number combination as follows:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (the factory preset code is 0-0-0).
2. Push the reset button with a pen or other pointed object until you hear a click.
3. Set your new number on the dial and remember it well.
4. Push the button in the direction of the arrow.
The reset button will return to its original position and you will hear a click. Your new numeric code is now set. If you wish to change your numeric code, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pullers and open the suitcase, enter the correct code and push the button in the direction of the arrow (the code is preset to 0-0-0 from the factory if you have not yet set your own code).
TSA lock
The primary purpose of the TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to allow luggage to be easily opened for inspection without damaging it. This can also speed up the inspection process. TSA security officers can open and inspect luggage with this type of lock without having to destroy it. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of master key used to open this type of lock. Keys for TSA locks are not sold to the public and are only available to TSA personnel. After inspecting your luggage, these officers are required to place an inspection notice inside your suitcase and the suitcase must be relocked. It is especially recommended for travel to the USA, as the TSA is primarily an American organisation, but TSA standards are also used at airports outside the United States.Specifications
