SIRUI Astra Series 50mm, 75mm&100mm T1.8 1.33X Full-frame Anamorphic Cine Lens Kit (L Mount, Blue Fl
The SIRUI Astra Series 50mm, 75mm & 100mm T1.8 1.33X Full-frame Anamorphic Cine Lens Kit (L Mount, Blue Flare) captures video footage and photos on mirrorless cameras with a Leica L-mount. These 50, 75, and 100mm prime anamorphic lenses have an aperture of T1.8. Their optical system creates a widescreen cinematic image with blue flare effects, complemented by an oval bokeh with vertical background blur. The body has a diameter of 80mm and the front features a 67mm filter thread. The lenses work with both APS-C and full-frame sensors and let you create content with a wide aspect ratio of approximately 2.35:1.
Key features of the SIRUI Astra Series 50mm, 75mm&100mm T1.8 1.33X Full-frame Anamorphic Cine Lens Kit (L Mount, Blue Flare)
- Three lenses with 50, 75 and 100mm focal lengths for flexible shooting
- Constant 1.33× squeeze factor creates a 2.35:1 widescreen cinematic aspect ratio without image cropping
- Aperture of T1.8 to T22 for shooting in various lighting conditions
- Fast and quiet autofocus supports smooth focusing for both photography and filming
- Striking blue anamorphic flares give the image a distinctive look
- Oval bokeh and vertical background stretch enhance the anamorphic character of the shots
- Consistent colour rendering across all focal lengths makes it easy to switch between them and simplifies post-production
- Identical dimensions and gear ring positions for quick lens changes on a rig
- Compatible with full-frame cameras with an L-mount
Mount and compatibility
These prime lenses for Leica L-mount mirrorless cameras work with APS-C and full-frame sensors. Users can mount them on compatible camera bodies without needing adapters. The fixed focal lengths provide narrower angles of view, suitable for detailed shots, portraits, and cinematic scenes. You can use the lenses for both video and photography, and thanks to their consistent colour rendering, they can be easily combined with other lenses from the same series. The lens system includes an aspherical element, which corrects optical image distortion and helps reduce the overall size.
Focusing with an STM motor
The autofocus system uses a quiet STM stepping motor. This technology delivers fast and smooth focus transitions when shooting dynamic scenes and static portraits. The focusing accurately tracks the selected subject in the frame and reduces noise that could interfere with the audio recording. Users can switch to manual focus using the dedicated mechanical AF/MF switch on the body.
Aperture and iris
The T1.8 aperture makes it easy to work in poor lighting conditions and at dusk. The aperture can be set in the range from T1.8 to T22 and creates a soft oval bokeh in the background of the image with a characteristic vertical blur. The built-in aperture ring offers the option to switch between stepless and clicked operation using the Click Aperture Control function, helping both photographers and videographers achieve smooth exposure changes.
Controls and construction
The metal barrel features an adjustable FN button for quick selection of assigned functions. The aperture ring lock prevents accidental changes to the setting when handling the equipment and maintains a stable exposure. The dual scale displays the focusing distance in both metres and feet. The geared rings have the same position on all lenses in the set, speeding up changes without the need for lengthy follow-focus readjustments. The triple-protection design resists dust and moisture ingress when working in challenging outdoor environments and protects the optical elements from rain. The 67mm front thread allows for the quick attachment of standard photo filters.
