The Salente SteelChef kitchen scales weigh up to 5kg with an accuracy of 1 gram. The weighed values are displayed on a blue backlit screen. For your convenience, you can choose from various units (grams, ounces, millilitres). If you put too much on the kitchen scales, they will alert you. Likewise, you will be notified when the battery is running low, so you can replace it in good time. The stainless steel surface with European LFGB certification ensures safe contact with food. After 2 minutes of inactivity, the kitchen scales automatically turn off to prevent unnecessary battery drain.

Easy-to-Read Backlit Display
The Salente SteelChef is equipped with an excellently readable display with a contrasting blue backlight. You will clearly see the current weight/quantity and the selected units for weighing dry or liquid ingredients (g/oz/lb:oz/ml/fl:oz).
Using the Salente SteelChef Kitchen Scales
The kitchen scales feature a ZERO function, which is used to zero out the weight of the weighing container, and a TARE function, which you can use to incrementally add ingredients.
- Place the weighing bowl on the scales.
- Zero the weight of the bowl using the "ZERO" button.
- Now you are weighing the weight of the ingredient (e.g. 400g) without including the weight of the bowl.
- Zero the weight of the first weighed ingredient using the "ZERO" button.
- By adding the second ingredient, its weight will be shown on the display.
