Polaroid colour Film for I-Type Pokémon Edition
Polaroid colour Film for i-Type Pokémon edition instant film is used to instantly develop colour photos directly from a compatible camera, with no need for further lab processing. The film material works on the principle of the classic chemical emulsion from the Polaroid brand and does not require a battery in the cartridge itself, as power is supplied by the camera's battery. The colour images fully develop within ten to fifteen minutes after exposure to light. One pack contains eight photographic sheets with motifs from the world of Pokémon, which gradually develop their colour after being ejected from the camera. This type of film works in modern i-Type cameras and other selected devices. It works seamlessly with Polaroid Now, Now+, I-2, Flip, OneStep 2, and OneStep+ models. It also works with the Polaroid Lab printer, which transfers digital images from a smartphone onto classic paper. The cartridge does not contain a built-in battery and is therefore not compatible with older, vintage Polaroid cameras.

The special edition Polaroid colour Film for i-Type Pokémon edition brings collectible motifs on the frames of individual photos to fans of the Pokémon series. Each pack contains a random selection from eighteen different designs featuring Pokémon motifs. The protective darkslide features a Pokémon silhouette and protects the sensitive emulsion from unwanted light when inserting the cartridge into the camera. The film is produced directly in the factory in the Netherlands, a nod to traditional European production.
Technical Properties of the Emulsion
The film's sensitivity corresponds to a value of ASA 640 and therefore requires plenty of light during shooting for optimal exposure. The development of the emulsion layer itself requires a stable ambient temperature during the first few minutes after the image is ejected from the camera body. The glossy surface enhances the saturation of individual shades and gives the resulting images a traditional retro look. Physical photographs offer a specific colour rendition and contrast that are characteristic of classic chemical instant processes.
