After switching on the device and selecting the pouch thickness you want to use, the Olympia A3048 heats up in under 5 minutes (depending on the chosen pouch). The laminator can handle all formats up to A3 size. You can use pouches with a thickness of 80 to 250 microns. A high-quality heating system and 4 rollers ensure precise lamination. The device automatically shuts off after 30 minutes of inactivity. The package includes a 15-piece set of laminating pouches (3× A4, 4× A5, 4× A6, 4× business card), so you can try out the device right after unpacking.

You can use the Olympia A3048 laminator to laminate not only documents, but also photos, ID cards, graphics and much more. You can work with A3 and smaller formats—the maximum width of the laminated document is 330mm. The Olympia features 4 rollers (2 heating and 2 pressure) and a high-quality heating system to ensure precise lamination and prevent unwanted bubbles. If a pouch gets jammed in the laminator (for example, if it's inserted crookedly or if a crumpled pouch is used), you can use the reverse button to release it. After 30 minutes of inactivity, the Olympia A3048 laminator automatically turns off to save energy.
Olympia A3048 has a touch panel for easy operation
After turning on the laminator, you can quickly and easily select the pouch thickness you want to use for laminating documents via the touchscreen. The corresponding indicator light will show your selected thickness. The Olympia laminator heats up in approximately 1–5 minutes, depending on the chosen pouch thickness:
- 80 microns – 1 minute 10 seconds
- 100 microns – 1 minute 40 seconds
- 125 microns – 2 minutes 35 seconds
- 150 microns – 3 minutes 5 seconds
- 175 microns – 3 minutes 30 seconds
- 200 microns – 4 minutes 5 seconds
- 250 microns – 5 minutes 20 seconds
While heating up, the light bar at the Olympia A3048 laminator's entry slot flashes red. Once heating is complete, the bar turns blue, and you can start laminating at a speed of up to 600mm/minute. The Olympia device also lets you use cold lamination (COLD).
