The OEM TV/R FV 2 aerial splitter splits television and radio signals into two separate feeds. This passive component operates in the 5–1000MHz frequency band. The die-cast metal chassis design protects internal electronic parts from external electromagnetic interference. Standard threaded F-connectors connect the coaxial cables. The die-cast chassis protects internal circuitry and provides high mechanical durability. All connection points feature F-type threaded connectors. One input and two output connectors enable easy connection of coaxial cables. Compact dimensions make it easy to place the splitter into installation boxes or distribution boards.

Frequency parameters, shielding, and signal attenuation
The device operates in a wide frequency range from 5 to 1000MHz, fully covering mid UHF bands and return paths. The splitter maintains a stable insertion loss of 3.2dB on both outputs. Wave impedance of the entire system is a standard 75Ω. An important feature is the high resistance to undesirable external electromagnetic interference. In the 5–470MHz band, shielding effectiveness exceeds 75dB. For higher frequencies from 470 to 1000MHz, the shielding value is over 65dB to maintain signal purity. Isolation of 25dB between individual outputs prevents connected receivers from interfering with each other.
