The Noctua NF-A9 PWM chromax.black.swap is a 92mm fan with an all-black design that you can customise with the included exchangeable anti-vibration pads, available in red, white, blue, green, yellow and black. It features a precision-engineered SSO2 bearing, a long lifespan of up to 150000 hours, support for PWM speed control, and a maximum noise level of 22.8dB. The fan can be stopped with a 0% PWM signal, which enables semi-passive operation.

Precision bearings and advanced aerodynamic design
The fan uses Noctua’s custom-designed NE-FD1 PWM IC with Smooth Commutation Drive (SCD) technology, which ensures smoother, quieter operation at lower speeds. The SSO2 bearing provides greater stability and a long lifespan. The fan blades use Flow Acceleration Channels, which improve airflow and reduce noise. The AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frame, with its Stepped Inlet Design and Inner Surface Microstructures, optimises airflow and increases the fan's efficiency.
Modular cabling and accessories
The fan comes with a 30cm black-sleeved NA-EC1 cable. Coloured cable options are also available separately (white, red, blue, green, yellow), along with matching NA-YC1 Y-cables. You can also purchase NA-SAV2 anti-vibration mounts for easy, quiet installation.
