Optical construction for the Neewer conversion lens
This optical system changes the focal length from the basic 24mm to a wide-angle 18mm. The wide-angle part works exclusively in conjunction with the macro part, with the optical system containing two optical elements in two groups. Users get a wider angle of view, equivalent to 18mm to 20mm in 35mm film format, with the image stabilisation turned off.
10× magnification macro lens
Unscrewing the front wide-angle part anti-clockwise creates a separate macro lens. The optical element provides 10× magnification for shooting tiny subjects at close range. The shortest focusing distance is 1.8cm, capturing fine textures and details without edge distortion.
Extension tube for detailed shots
The supplied kit includes an extension tube with an integrated internal spring for macro photography. The auxiliary tube keeps the optical elements at a greater distance from the camera sensor and increases the overall magnification without degrading the quality of the final image. The spring inside the tube helps to seat the whole system securely on the bayonet mount.

The body of the optical element is made of CNC-machined anodised aluminium alloy. Assembly and transport
Installation starts by attaching the bayonet mount to the camera body and tightening it with the L-shaped key. The whole process requires just a few assembly steps, with no need for complex tools. Next, the extension tube is attached to the mount, into which the optical conversion lens itself is screwed. The lens can be carried in the transport case.
