Body construction
The top plate, back plate and ribs are made of plywood, which resists changes in room humidity and temperature well. The instrument includes a maple fingerboard and composite fittings. These materials increase the structural strength of the entire body and prevent unwanted warping during tuning. The materials used are wood and plastic to achieve high strength.
Ergonomics and comfort
The anatomically shaped chin rest facilitates correct posture during practice and reduces neck muscle fatigue. The correct shape of the resonance holes directs acoustic pressure and helps to produce a stable tone. This gives the player better control over the resulting sound. The modified design makes it easier for both children and adult students to practise correct playing technique.
Equipment
The package includes a bow with natural horsehair, which provides smooth contact with the strings and balanced pressure when playing. The natural horsehair requires regular application of the included rosin for optimal friction and clarity of the resulting tone. The instrument has four strings, which shortens the time needed to prepare before the first play at music school and makes tuning easier.
Protection during transport
A sturdy protective case with a black textile cover protects the instrument from mechanical damage and external weather conditions. The durable construction contributes to the safe storage of the instrument during both storage and transport. The case also includes a sturdy handle for easy carrying by hand on daily journeys.
Parameters and finish
The overall dimensions of the instrument are 59 × 21 × 3.9 cm and with a body weight of just 0.5kg, it won't tire your arms during long practice sessions at home or in the classroom. These dimensions correspond to the standard 4/4 size for adult players. The low weight helps maintain correct posture and makes handling the entire instrument easier. The body of the instrument is covered with a glossy varnish with a dark shade imitating natural wood. This lacquered surface protects the wooden parts from minor scratches, dust accumulation and external environmental influences. The traditional look corresponds to the classic Stradivari design. The lacquered surface is also easy to clean with a dry cloth, which simplifies routine maintenance after each playing session.
