Corning glass with double ion exchange

The Corning glass undergoes a double ion-exchange process, which creates compressive stress in the surface layer. This helps to limit the spread of cracks. The surface compressive stress (CS) reaches 820–890MPa, compared to the usual standard of 800MPa, and the ion exchange depth is 16–19µm. During testing, the screen protector withstood a 64g steel ball dropped from a height of 120cm. Chemical tempering increases the glass's resistance to impact and cracking.
