Japan Asuka Houjicha (Houjicha) is a Japanese tea that is produced by roasting Bancha green tea at 200°C, after which the tea leaves are subjected to a shock cooling process. Unlike other green teas, this tea contains very little caffeine, so it can be given in limited quantities to children and the elderly. Houjicha Asuka green tea (translated as "Scent of Tomorrow") is appreciated even by cold-hearted people, as it has an extremely strong warming effect compared to other teas. It is also recommended to drink it during stress and general weakness of the organism. The infusion has a brownish colour and a pleasant, slightly bitter, malty taste. Tea is also great as a gift.
