India Darjeeling FTGFOPI Marybong is a fine Indian black tea from the autumn harvest, which is considered the top among teas. This tea, with a wonderful nutty aroma, balanced sweet taste and ideal tannin content, is slightly stronger than the teas harvested on this plantation during the first harvest. India is the largest tea producer in the world, alongside China and Sri Lanka. The tea industry here employs two million people and total annual production ranges from eight to nine hundred thousand tons. Teas from India are overwhelmingly black. Green tea is produced in large quantities in the northwest of the country and is mainly destined for the Afghan and Iranian markets. Better quality green and partially oxidised teas are grown in Darjeeling.

Indian black tea.
Preparation
Pour 15-18 g into 1 liter of hot water at a temperature of approximately 100 °C. Leave to infuse for 3-5 minutes.
Storage
Store in a dry place at a temperature of up to 25 °C away from direct sunlight. Protect from frost.
