The Simplehuman bin offers voice and motion control
The Simplehuman Sensor bin responds to three voice commands, which are picked up by three microphones positioned to work even in busier environments. The lid opens when you say "open can"; the command "stay open" keeps the bin open until you say "close can". If the bin doesn't receive a command to close, it automatically shuts after ten minutes. In addition to voice control, you can open the bin by waving your hand over the infrared sensor. The sensor scans the area above and in front of the bin to prevent it from accidentally opening when you just walk past.
Integrated liner pocket
The smooth opening and closing of the Simplehuman Sensor bin is ensured by an ultra-quiet motor, so the lid's movement is completely non-disruptive. The bin features an integrated liner pocket that holds an entire spare pack of Simplehuman bin bags. You can then easily dispense the bags from inside the bin. The liner rim holds the bags securely in place.
